Beckham’s Milan Return Still Not Certain
Despite the recent declarations from David Beckham that his return to Milan is down to a few details, it seems that the LA Galaxy star could face some further difficulties, according to recent reports from Sportsmediaset.
The problems seem to be connected with the details of an eventual loan deal in which the Rossoneri look unwilling to pay the high wage bill of the English icon.
According to The News of The World, Beckham’s current employers have asked Milan to pay €85,000 a week for the loan services of their midfield star. However, with the Italian giants unwilling to spend more than €50,000 it seems that there is quite a large shortfall between the two parties.
After stumping up the cash from his own funds to finance his move to Milan last January, it seems that Beckham is reluctant to make such a sacrifice again given the interest from a number of clubs across Europe.
With Milan struggling to find the finances during the summer transfer market, it appears that the Rossoneri faithful are in for further disappointment in January despite the club’s need to reinforce.
