Inter To Fight Arsenal Over Udinese’s Gokhan Inler
Inter have rekindled their interest in Udinese midfielder Gokhan Inler and they are making plans to sign him in the summer.
According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, the Nerazzurri have taken note of Inler’s hint that he could be leaving the Zebrette.
“I want to wait and see what happens at the end of the season,” Inler said when asked about his future.
The player’s current deal expires in 2014, and the Bianconeri are keen to extend that. But with Inter and possibly Arsenal taking a look, Inler’s head has been turned.
Udinese director Sergio Gasparin sees it differently. He believes the club can hold onto their man.
“We have much confidence in the player and it would be pleasing if he stays here. The contract is long, so we don’t have a problem,” said Gasparin.
It is said Udinese value Inler at around €15 million.
