Adriano And Nilmar To Lead Brazil’s Attack Against Bolivia
Adriano and Nilmar, of Flamengo and Villarreal, respectively, will lead Brazil’s attack when they travel to La Paz to do battle with Bolivia in the penultimate round of the South American World Cup qualifiers on Sunday.
Dunga, the coach of Brazil, has decided to give a rest to several of his key players, so that he can test out players who have received limited opportunities with the national team in the past.
Because of this he has decided to give the likes of Real Madrid’s Kaka and Sevilla’s Luis Fabiano a break, although they may take part in next week’s World Cup qualifier against Venezuela.
Adriano comes from scoring twice for Flamengo in the Rio de Janeiro derby against Fluminense last week.
While Nilmar seems to have already cemented himself a place in Brazil’s squad, after converting a superb hat-trick in Brazil’s previous encounter against Chile last month.
Dunga will also give a go to other players who don’t regularly start for the side. These are Miranda, Josue, Ramires, Daniel Alves and fringe player Diego Souza.
The Selecao will perform their final training session in Granja Comary on Saturday morning. In the afternoon they will take a flight to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. On Sunday, just hours before kick-off, Brazil will travel to La Paz.
