Fabio Capello Announces England Squad For World Cup Qualifiers

Fabio Capello James and Agbonlahor in as Capello picks squad to face Ukraine and Belarus.

England head coach Fabio Capello has announced his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine (10th October) and Belarus (14th October).

With both Jermain Defoe and Ben Foster ruled out through injury, Capello has recalled Gabriel Agbonlahor and David James after impressive displays for their respective clubs in recent weeks.  

Goalkeepers: Robert Green (West Ham), David James (Portsmouth), Paul Robinson (Blackburn Rovers),

Defenders: Wayne Bridge (Manchester City), Wes Brown (Manchester United), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United), Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Joleon Lescott (Manchester City), John Terry (Chelsea), Matthew Upson (West Ham)

Midfielders: Gareth Barry (Manchester City), David Beckham (LA Galaxy), Michael Carrick (Manchester United), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Aaron Lennon (Tottenham Hotspur), James Milner (Aston Villa), Shaun Wright-Phillips (Manchester City), Ashley Young (Aston Villa) 

Strikers: Gabriel Agbonlahor (Aston Villa), Carlton Cole (West Ham), Peter Crouch (Tottenham Hostpur), Emile Heskey (Aston Villa), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United).
