Roberto Donadoni Pleased With Napoli’s Three Points Against Siena
Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni admits that his team was under some sort of pressure considering their start to the campaign, but was pleased that the Azzurri could claim all three points against Siena.
Speaking to TuttoNapoli.net post-match, the former Italian national team coach said that the media are also to blame for the negativity surrounding his team.
“The team was able to express themselves considering everything that has gone on this week,” Donadoni said.
“I hope that there is more trust and that at the next error, there is not all this negatively around it.”
Donadoni also discussed the incidents of the past few weeks, and said that he has not commented because they were in his favour.
He continued, “But if we start talking about who deserved what, we must remember a few moments.”
“We must remember that there was a penalty on [Christian] Maggio that was not given, and a disallowed goal for offside which clearly was not.”
