Iniesta Could Start For Barcelona Against Dynamo Kiev
The midfield dynamo hasn’t started a game for the Blaugrana since the 2-0 victory over Manchester United in the Champions League final in Rome. It was towards the end of that game that Iniesta suffered thigh injury that kept him out of action until earlier this month.
His return has been a gradual one, featuring as a substitute in three of Barca’s last four league games, as coach Pep Guardiola doesn’t want to risk further injury to the midfield star.
The absence of Thierry Henry means he could now feature alongside Leo Messi in a supporting role behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Barcelona will certainly be looking to make home advantage count by securing all three points from this game as Dynamo are already on three points following a 3-1 victory over Rubin Kazan in their first group game.
