Alcohol To Be Banned In Fiorentina-Liverpool Champions League Clash

the-bruery-beer-barrelsFlorence prefect Andrea de Martino has banned the sale of alcohol during the Champions League clash between Fiorentina and Liverpool on Tuesday night, according to the latest reports from Mediaset.

The move is to curb the amount of alcohol abuse that occurs at football matches, and the horrible negative consequences that can happen if influenced by the substance.

The ban will be enforced from Monday night at 9:00pm until 2:00am Wednesday morning, several hours after the Italian and English giants meet and conclude their match.

Restaurants and local businesses will be exempt from the ban. Any form of drinking in public will not be tolerated by the police.
