Esteban Cambiasso: Inter Cannot Always Play Great Football, The Result Is What Counts

cambiasso-2 Esteban Cambiasso helped Inter to a confident 3-1 win over Napoli on Wednesday evening, and the result and performance satisfied him.

“We got off on the right foot against Napoli, took an early lead and this made everything easier. You need time to make everything automatic,” the midfielder told Sky Sport Italia.

“So alternating brilliant performances with less impressive displays can happen, but it’s important that the result doesn’t change.”

Strikers Diego Milito and Samuel Eto’o have been in positive form since joining the club this summer, banging in the goals.

“The time will come when Milito doesn’t score, but he will still be important for the team because he plays for the team. Diego and Samuel are playing with continuity and they are scoring,” he argued.

Meanwhile, the former Real Madrid player commented on the fixture list, which sees the bigger teams like Inter having a hectic schedule.

“We’re so tired in this period, with games every three days, that even my baby daughter Victoria can’t keep me awake,” he laughed in conclusion.
