Barcelona Defender Gabriel Milito Back In Training
There is still no comeback date for the Argentine, but he is closer to a return.
Gabriel Milito is tentatively making his way back towards the Barcelona squad, and he is now back kicking a football after nearly 18 months on the sidelines.
The Argentine damaged the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in the Champions League against Manchester United in April 2007, and has not seen first-team action since.
However, Marca are reporting that Milito pulled on his boots and participated in a series of exercises with the ball in Barca’s training session earlier today.
Milito recently returned to Spain after undergoing the first phase of his rehabilitation in his native Argentina.
No date has been set for his return because he returned to training last February only for his hopes of first-team action to be dashed.
