Two high-profile clubs are interested in the ex-Blues chief executive.

Peter Kenyon is set to continue in his chief executive role at Chelsea until the end of October, but his move into a non-executive capacity has reportedly sparked the interest of Manchester City and Serie A giant Internazionale.

The Stamford Bridge side announced yesterday that Kenyon will officially stand-down in his current role, but will maintain a committee-based position at the club.

According to The Independent, Manchester City have been alerted to the news and it is a move the 55-year-old may welcome. Furthermore, it has been suggested that Kenyon could have some involvement in the 2012 Olympics.

Meanwhile, interest in the continent has also apparently accelerated with Inter rumoured to be pondering the prospect of further ‘globalising’ their brand.

Kenyon boasts an impressive pair of employers on his list having been employed in a similar role at Manchester United, prior to his Chelsea days.
