Patrick Vieira: No One Better Than Inter

Inter left it late to overcome new boys Parma 2-0 at the San Siro yesterday and move to within two points of the early pacesetters in Serie A.

And French midfielder Patrick Vieira feels that patience was the key to their success.
“We managed to stay calm as it was difficult to find spaces to play in, but in the final minutes we had more chances and scored goals,” he told the Inter Channel.

“I feel really great and this is biggest satisfaction for me. I am pleased, we deserved this victory.”

Bitter rivals Juventus currently top the table with a 100 per cent record, along with Ligurian duo Sampdoria and Genoa, but Vieira seems unimpressed by the teams above his own.

“There are strong sides, but we are the best: this is the best Inter I have seen in four years,” he concluded.

The Italian champions parted company with star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer, but the likes of Diego Milito and Samuel Eto’o have been quick to fill the void left by the Swedish international.

Ibrahimovic is expected to get a frosty reception from the San Siro faithful when his Barcelona side travel to Milan for the Champions League tie on Wednesday.
