Cambiasso & Zanetti Ruled Out Of Inter’s Match Against Parma

Cambiasso Inter are going in search of their second victory of the campaign this weekend, when they play host to the newcomers Parma at the San Siro stadium.

On the opening matchday, the reigning Italian champions were held to a 1-1 draw by another of the recently promoted clubs in Bari, so they will be desperate to avoid dropping further points this time around.

According to the latest reports from Corriere dello Sport though, their task has been made a little more difficult with the news that Esteban Cambiasso is certain to miss out, despite there being rumours suggesting that he may be fit in time to take his place.

In addition to this, the captain of the Nerazzurri, Javier Zanetti, is another who is in serious doubt, due to recently returning from his international commitments in South America with Argentina.

Marco Materazzi, who suffered an injury to his thigh in the recent friendly against Lugano, still has another 20 days or so on the sidelines, whilst Wesley Sneijder has recovered from his respective injury, and therefore should be fit to play in behind the strikers on Sunday.
