Real Madrid Defender Sergio Ramos Near To Full Fitness

sergioramosdesmazeselmundo The light is at the end of the tunnel for Sergio Ramos, who returned from holiday in July with a groin injury before suffering from Achilles tendinitis in his left leg.

According to Spanish daily AS, the Real Madrid medical team are confident that Ramos will be able to train with the rest of the squad when they return from international duty on Thursday.

In the last few days, the former Sevilla defender began drills with a football again after a summer of injury, indicating that he is very close to recovery.

Despite this, Ramos is showing his dedication to Manuel Pellegrini’s team by conducting a training session on his own while those not selected for international matches have the weekend off.

A date for the 23-year-old’s return to first-team action has not yet been set, but he will undergo another, more intense physical examination by the club’s medical staff on Tuesday. Should everything go smoothly, Pellegrini will find out when he is able to select the Spanish right-back for his side.
