Arsenal Are Ready For The ‘Big Test’ Against Manchester United – Arsene Wenger

Wenger The Gunners gaffer is eagerly awaiting what he believes will be the team’s toughest task so far this season: a trip to play Manchester United.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has proclaimed that his side are ready to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday, branding the mouth-watering clash as a “big test” for his young squad.

“I am happy to go to Old Trafford because it is the first big, big test,” ‘The Professor’ told Sky Sports.

“You want always to have a high level of confidence when you go to Old Trafford – we have that at the moment.

The gaffer then turned his attention to the victory against Celtic on Wednesday night, alluding that similar form is the need of the hour when the north London club travel to face the Red Devils.

“We are now in the top, top league in Europe, with all the big names,” the manager beamed.

“Our team against Celtic was an average age of 23.9 years.
That means, if we can get out of the group stage, then in six months we can be even stronger.

“That is what we want to focus on, to continue to improve our team play, the speed of our game and show that we have made big improvements come Saturday at 17:15.

The Frenchman signed off by saying that the players will need a rest before the crunch game.

“For us it is most important to recover physically because Manchester United did not play during the week,” he concluded.
