Inter’s Massimo Moratti Tells Jose Mourinho: We Need To Be More Patient On The Pitch

moratti Inter president Massimo Moratti is less than pleased with his side’s 1-1 home draw against newly-promoted Bari.

Jose Mourinho’s side struggled to grab all three points at the San Siro on Sunday night despite the team playing with four attacking players in the second half. Moratti seems annoyed that his side tried to rush the game and has called for calm.

“We were in a hurry to win, in some games you need patience,” Moratti told the press.

“I don’t think we were unlucky. We had many chances and we made a lot of mistakes. Maybe we were rushing things a little.”

The oil tycoon dropped a hint about the transfer market as the search for a play-maker gathers pace.

“We have to find a trequartista, but it has to be the right player, or we risk making another mistake,” concluded the chief.

Inter have been linked with Real Madrid’s Wesley Sneijder, Lazio’s Cristian Ledesma, and Roma ace Julio Baptista as they try to reconcile squad requirements with Moratti’s budget.
