Ibrahimovic: I’m Not 100 Per Cent Fit

zlatan ibrahimovic barcelonaBarcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic claims his physical condition is some way short of what it should be, according to El Mundo Deportivo.

Since signing from Inter, Ibrahimovic has only played 45 minutes for the European champions after coming on as a substitute for the blaugrana in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on Wednesday.

“My physical condition is not the best and I lack rhythm,” said the 27-year-old striker.

Ibrahimovic missed most of Barca’s pre-season fixtures as he was recovering from a broken bone in his left hand sustained during a friendly for Inter against Chelsea.

The prolific striker, who scored 57 times in 88 league games for Inter, was quick to point out that it will take time to adapt to his new teams style of play.

“When you change team you have to start from scratch, get used to another style. But here it seems even more necessary. Barcelona have a very specific style, a brand that identifies them,” remarked Ibra.

“To become part of that mechanism takes training and matches that I have not had yet,” he added.
